Welcome to Cedar Rest Cabins, home of the best in Maine relaxation. We would like to invite you to spend a week with us on your next trip to Maine. We are centrally located to a host of fine activities, including golfing, bowling, Baxter State Park and some of the best hiking available in Maine.
We are located on the shores of Cold Stream Pond, but don't let the name fool you. This is a cold Spring fed Lake, approximately 3 Miles long and 1 1/2 Miles wide, with salmon and togue fishing for the accomplished fisherman.

One of the best memories you will take home with you is the soft cry of the Loon from the lake at night while you are quietly relaxing in your cabin. Experience what most Maine people take for granted, and enjoy what we have enjoyed for many years. The quiet still evenings on the lake are some of the best times you will ever have. Any season is a season of delight in a Maine cabin. Relaxation is the number one activity at Cedar Rest Cabins. Come enjoy Maine, The Way Life Should Be!

All our cabins are housekeeping cabins, equipped with full bathrooms and kitchens, including, dishes, silverware, pot/pans, etc. We completely remodeled all of the cabins in 1998, with new plumbing throughout and new bathrooms including all fixtures. The interior is all tongue and groove pine, with a rustic yet comfortable feeling. These cabins are a hit among the young and elderly alike, providing a place that most people just want to sit back and enjoy. Bed linens and blankets are also included. There is an extra charge for daily bath towels. Our cabins are maintained for our paying guests. We do request a $2.00 fee per visitor. A popular recreation spot for personal water crafts, canoeing, water skiing, and kayaking. Cold Steam is a clean, clear water lake with fantastic swimming. Swimming is at your own risks, we do not have a life guard on duty. Please watch your children carefully around the water. We have 3 clean, comfortable cabins. All are a stones throw from the lake, with a beautiful view. Bring your boat and do some fishing or enjoy an evening cruise. If you enjoy paddling bring your canoe.
