Crocker House Country Inn, Hancock Point, Maine
The Crocker House Country Inn, tucked away on the peninsula of Hancock Point, was built in 1884 and carefully restored in 1986. Its quiet, out of the way location, fine cuisine and individually appointed guest rooms, each with a private bath, all combine to make the Crocker House a refreshing and memorable experience. Since purchasing the Inn in 1980, we have strived to create an environment that is comfortable and rejuvenating. Hancock Point is a small summer community where guests can experience a relaxing way of life reminiscent of past memories. Within easy walking distance are an octagonal library, the second smallest post office in the United States, a 100-year old summer chapel, and four clay tennis courts. Bordered by Frenchman Bay on the south and east and the Skillings River to the west, Hancock Point is small enough so that all roads lead to the water.
