The Old Manse Inn was once home to generations of legendary seafarers who swept their way through the Revolutionary War, the War of 1812, and on through the American Civil War.

These were the men who drove immense packet ships through the most fearsome oceans in the world, and later captained the mighty clipper ships which soon elevated young America to the front ranks of the world's maritime powers. (Not to mention their command of entire whaling fleets, that hammered their way into the far reaches of both the Pacific and Arctic Oceans).

Their journeys were also the stuff of legends - taking them from the jungles of Surinam and Brazil, to the cannibalistic islands of the Pacific, and on into the mysterious and exotic lands of China, India, and the warlord kingdoms of Southeast Asia.

We invite you to become part of their world at the Old Manse Inn this season. And we promise you incredible surprises - at every turn.

And our guest rooms and suites are luxurious. Depending on the ones selected, they come complete with hand inlaid fireplaces, antique armoires, period furnishings, deluxe canopied beds, hardwood flooring, oriental carpets, luxurious linens and spreads, and handsome marine and landscape paintings throughout. All include private luxury baths, air conditioning, cable television and access to our in-house guest phone.

We hope our recent renovations have retained all of the elegance and charm you have come to expect of The Old Manse Inn on Cape Cod. We have given each spacious room its own character through a lovely collection of antique period pieces and select new furnishings.

Our bed and breakfast inn provides you with many choices from chestnut sleigh beds, carved cherry canopy, or beautiful wrought iron beds, each carefully coordinated with rich linens, handmade drapes and distinct wall coverings. All of our nine rooms offer full private baths, air conditioning and cable television. A hall telephone is located on our inn's second floor as well as a butler's basket of fine toiletries, and towels for the beach. Sumptious breakfasts are included as a guest of the Inn.
