Bar Harbor Cottages and Suites, (formerly Cottages At Salisbury Cove) in Bar Harbor, Maine has been serving visitors to the Acadia National Park and Mount Desert Island area for generations. Nestled in a peaceful hamlet on a country road across the lane from a large cove, our spacious pristine white cottages beckon visitors to our park like setting. The cottages have either a water view or garden view, and most have screened porches. To best serve your needs, we have various types of cottages which can accommodate 1 - 6 people. Those cottages which accommodate 3 or more persons have separate sleeping quarters for added privacy. We are conveniently located about 1 1/2 miles to a public beach, 4.5 miles to the business district, 2 miles to to Acadia National Park, and a 15 - 20 minute drive to the other coastal villages in the area.

The owners, Kathy and Ted Combs, are lodging and hospitality industry veterans, and formerly owned 3 bed and breakfast inns in the Bar Harbor and Acadia National Park area. They have recently redecorated the studio, 1 and 2 bedroom, fully equipped self catering cottages with screened porches and kitchenettes.

Our studio, one and two bedroom fully equipped self catering cottages have the following amenities: kitchenettes, cable color TV, private bath, AC/Heat, most with screened porches, comfortably accommodates 1-6 people. Linens and cooking utensils are provided. Fresh towels and supplies available daily.

Our guest suites are comfortable and stylish. "For a special treat, consider a newly renovated and redecorated Victorian Cottage Suite which is a free standing cottage with the following amenities: water view, AC/Heat, color cable TV, separate bedroom with queen size bed, a private bath, a living area with antique wicker furniture and a free standing gas fireplace, a kitchenette and a dining alcove with French doors leading to a screened porch."
