Lawrence's Lakeside Cabins & Guide Service, Rockwood, Maine

Our cabins are clean and well maintained. Each unit has electricity, hot and cold running water, bathroom with shower, thermostat heat, automatic coffee maker, toaster, microwave, dishes, utensils, pots and pans, refrigerator w/freezer, stove, satellite TV, VCR, linens, blankets and towels. Each cabin has a gas grill w/fuel and there is a fire pit w/wood at the beach. Guests are welcome to help themselves to a wide selection of books, games and free movies from our office annex. We also offer the use of our coin-operated laundry facility.

We are located on the western shore of Moosehead Lake, on a quiet, dead-end street. Each cabin views a ten mile span of water, with islands and mountains on the horizon. Swimming is encouraged from our gravel beach, and boat docking is free. A general store and post office are within walking distance.

The Lodge: (Private rental unit): Five bedrooms with three double beds, three sets of bunks, three twin beds, and two bathrooms with showers. The kitchen is equipped with a Vulcan cookstove with flat grill, standard kitchen stove, microwave, dishwasher, and two refrigerators. Thermostat heat is accompanied by a Regency glass front wood stove. Not to exceed twelve guests.
