Our Victorian house with its 2 story carriage house in the rear is only 3 blocks to the Historic Independence Square with restaurants, antique and specialty shops, 4 screen movie theatre and many historic sites. Yet our property is secluded from the hustle and bustle of every day life and provides a quiet stay surrounded by gardens and birds. Our 1887 three story brick house in Independence Missouri is the ultimate Victorian Experience! Our guests call this a museum you can sleep in!! You will be transported back in time to the true romance of the Victorian era.

3 full apartment suites are located in the carriage house behind the main house. Each has a fully equipped kitchen (indluding dishes and utensils), dining table & chairs, and sitting room. They are roomier than the suites or rooms in the main house. 2 are located are the first floor and one is on the second floor. They include the same antique decor and ambiance as the main house rooms. Each has its own separate entrance. They are the Spirit of Independence Suite, End of Trails Suite & the Frontier Trails Suite. Pets are allowed in the Frontier Trails Suite only at an additional $10 per pet per night.
