Farnsworth House Bed and Breakfast is located in Historic and beautiful Mount Dora, Florida, 25 miles northwest of Orlando, Florida. We invite you to get away and enjoy the relaxing atmosphere that is provided by the tree shaded streets, friendly people, spacious grounds, screened gazebo, and jacuzzi. Suites in the main house are fashionable and traditionally appointed with carriage house rooms done in themes of Golf and Christmas. Relax on the old fashion screened porches. Full breakfast is provided. All guests of Farnsworth House have access to the main house living and dining room and the large lower screened porch.

We are situated within walking distance from downtown Mount Dora on 1 1/2 acres with ample parking and a restful setting.
Farnsworth House is ideally located for attending the many attractions in Mount Dora. Such as The Art Festival, Bicycle Festival, Mount Dora Craft Fair, Antique Extravaganzas, Antique Boat Show, Renninger's Twin Antique Market (open every weekend) along with many quaint shops, day spas and fine restaurants in the city.
Farnsworth House is also located within easy driving access to Central Florida's attractions. It is 40 minutes to Walt Disney World, Sea World, Universal Studios, and Orlando International Airport; 45 minutes to Orlando; one hour to Daytona Beach and the Atlantic, one hour and thirty minutes to Cape Kennedy.

Amber: Decorated in yellows and blues with antique mahogany, Ralph Lauren chintz, Battenburg Lace, and queen bed. Suite includes kitchen, sitting room, bedroom, private bathroom, air conditioner/heater unit, TV, and access to a shared second floor screened porch with the Richard suite.

Richard: Decorated in blues, whites, and mauves, and accented with country decor, antique oak, and queen bed. Suite is a large combined bedroom/sitting room with a day bed to accommodate a third/fourth person with a private bathroom, kitchen, TV, and air conditioner/heater unit. Also has access to a shared second floor screened sitting porch with the Amber suite.

John Joseph: Decorated in white wicker, Ralph Lauren chintz, romantic green and pinks, and antique queen iron bed. Suite includes sitting room, bedroom, kitchen, private bathroom, TV, and air conditioner/heater unit.

Saint Andrews: Decorated in deep, rich, green, red, and gold tones with accents from the world of golf, queen size bed, and Danish furniture. Located on the ground level of the Carriage House, this large room includes bedroom, private bathroom, kitchenette, TV, and air conditioner/heater unit.

Saint Nicholas: Decorated in red, green, and white, queen size bed, and many handmade crafts and accents from the Christmas season. Located on the ground level of the Carriage House, this large room includes bedroom, private bathroom, kitchenette, TV, and air conditioner/heater unit.

Along with these beautiful and comfortable suites/rooms to choose from, our spacious grounds has a large jacuzzi spa enclosed in a screened-in gazebo for your relaxation.
