Bronze Antler Bed and Breakfast, Joseph, Oregon

The Bronze Antler is an American-style bed & breakfast with European influence. Our 1925 Craftsman Bungalow was originally home to one of Joseph's sawmill supervisors. The warm patina of original woodwork, copper-plated hardware, and period-inspired hand-painted stencils accents all rooms. Local craftspeople helped us restore this home in keeping with the William Morris tradition of the European Arts and Crafts movement.

Our living and dining rooms hold a mixture of European antiques and comfortable furniture. A satellite television with DVD/VCR, games, puzzles, and a library of hiking guides, field guides, and local books and maps are available for your use. Plan your day of gallery hopping and bronze foundry touring. Reconnoiter for your hike or bike ride, or plan your wilderness horseback or llama trek. Browse through our local restaurant menus while sipping complimentary soft drinks from the guest refrigerator. Enjoy a glass of sherry in front of the candlelit fireplace (of age guests only, please). The entire bed & breakfast has secure wireless internet access. Bring along your laptop for checking email and surfing.

Each of our four guest rooms is designed with two people in mind. When possible, a third person or child over 12 years may be accommodated on an Aerobed twin mattress. Please advise us at time of reservation.

You’ll find the following in all our guest rooms:
▪ Solid king- or queen-sized hardwood bed outfitted with a Simmons Beautyrest mattress, fine linens, plenty of down pillows, and a down comforter for your afternoon nap escape.
▪ Comfortable writing desk and lamps on both sides of your bed for catching up on vacation reading.
▪ Independently operated heating in both guest room and attached bath. Air-conditioning during summer months, and windows that open for fresh ventilation.
▪ Password-protected wireless internet access in your guest room and throughout the bed and breakfast. Plenty of electrical outlets for all of today’s necessities.
▪ Timex combination clock radio/CD player/environmental sound machine. We also provide relaxing CDs or bring along your favorites.
▪ Clothing armoire with plenty of hangers, drawers, and two rather nice spa robes to wrap up in after your tub bath.
▪ Each guest room adjoins its own bathroom. Depending upon the bathroom you will find either a deep soaking tub/shower combination or a whirlpool tub with separate steam shower. All of our bathrooms include either a separate bidet or a combination toilet/bidet. Many of our rooms include a lighted makeup mirror. After a long soak, towel off with thirsty white hotel towels and wrap up in your signature bathrobe for the evening.
