Little Bit of Heaven - Near Letchworth State Park, Silver Springs, New York

The Little Bit of Heaven Bed and Breakfast is located at 21 South Main St, Silver Springs, NY 14550 which is seven (7) miles from the Castile entrance to Letchworth State Park. It is a smoke free facility which provides unique lodging accomodations for its guests. The B & B is in a beautiful Victorian House built in 1893 by Mr. Joseph Duncan and his wife Addie. Mr. Duncan was the first Mayor of Silver Springs and owner of the local salt mine. The mine is now part of Morton Salt Company. Mr and Mrs Duncan entertained both Theodore Roosevelt and Booker T. Washington in the home.

Elegance and charm describe the decor of this beautiful home. The first floor hosts a spacious living room and front parlor for relaxing and conversation. The house has two enclosed porches which open onto the grounds and provide an area for privacy and quiet reflection. The formal dining room provides an elegant setting for breakfast, which is routinely served at 8:30 a.m. The Little Bit of Heaven has high speed wireless internet available for the guests plus cable TV with DVD and VHS in each room. There are a large number of DVDs and VHS videos available for the guests. Little Bit of Heaven Bed and Breakfast is a favorite of those who love the outdoors and small rural towns. It is surrounded by many attractions such as: Letchworth State Park (the Grand Canyon of the East), Silver Lake, antique shops, golf courses, Swain Ski Area, cross country ski areas, hiking trails, white water rafting, hot air balooning, stables, numerous trout streams and hunting areas. It is close to Houghton College and the University at Geneseo.

The Bed and Breakfast is also centrally located for day trips to the Finger Lakes, Niagara Falls, Canada, local wineries, Corning Glass Works, museums, baseball games, Buffalo Bills football games, and Darien Lake Amusement Park.

Little Bit of Heaven has four (4) rooms:

Theodore Roosevelt Suite: This is a spacious bedroom with a private sitting area, cable T.V. with DVD and VHS, wireless high speed internet, air conditioner, antique furnishings, hardwood floors, oriental rugs, ornate queen size bed, ceiling fan, private deck, stained glass window, and private bath, with shower. Luxurious accommodations for honeymoon or anniversary.

Booker T. Washington Room: This is a large room with a queen size white cast iron bed, cable T.V. with DVD and VHS, high speed wireless Internet, air conditioner, antique furnishings, private whirlpool tub, ceiling fan, and private bath.

Joseph Schamberger Room: This room has a queen size high back oak bed, cable T.V. with DVD and VHS, wireless high speed internet, air conditioner, ceiling fan, built in closet with double full length mirror, antique furnishings, beautiful hardwood floors, and a private bath, with shower.

Joseph Duncan Room: The is a first floor bedroom with beautiful hardwood floors, twin beds which can be converted to a king size bed, cable T.V. with DVD and VHS, high speed wireless internet, air conditioner, antique furnishings, and private bath with dressing/ makeup area.
