The Inn at New Berlin, New Berlin, Pennsylvania

A visit to central Pennsylvania wouldn't be complete without a stay at The Inn at New Berlin. Set in the heart of pastoral Susquehanna Valley, this romantic and relaxing getaway truly offers an abundance of life's quiet pleasures.

Comprised of two lovingly restored historic homes, The Inn offers gracious accommodations, fine dining at Gabriel's Restaurant (winner of the Wine Spectator Award of Excellence), and exceptional shopping at Gabriel's Gifts.

The original inn building, The Jacob Schoch House, was built in 1906 as a summer home for a wealthy Philadelphian. The Samuel Aurand was built in 1838 as a public house and tavern. John grew up in The Samuel Aurand where his parents had a corner grocery store.

Over the last decade, The Inn has blossomed into one of Pennsylvania's truly outstanding restaurants and country inns. Take advantage of the town's slower pace ... visit The Inn at New Berlin and let the Showers and their staff provide you with a gentle backdrop for romance and memories.

Five of The Inns nine rooms are located in the turn-of-the-century Victorian Jacob Schoch House; four are in the 1838 Federal-style Samuel Aurand. Replete with high ceilings, inviting nooks, and exquisite woodwork, these two historic homes embody the graceful beauty of New Berlins past.

Each room exudes unique style and charm. Click here to compare amenities, or click on a specific room photo below for complete details. Enjoy a full gourmet breakfast at Gabriels Restaurant with every overnight stay.
