Thetford Hill State Park, Thetford, Vermont

Thetford Hill State Park is a little known gem developed as picnic grounds by the CCC in the 1930s. The park is home to an award-winning cross-country trail system for high school athletes, a small and quiet campground with 14 campsites, 2 lean-tos, restrooms, showers ($), trailer sanitary station, and a picnic area with central Vermont hillside views. Located off Exit 14 of I-89 and VT Route 113.
