Lavender Dreams Bed and Breakfast Cottage, Anderson, California

Lavender Dreams Bed and Breakfast Cottage is located 12 miles from Redding, CA in a rural community known as Happy Valley. The cottage is separate from our home with a private patio facing the pond. It is home to a variety of wildlife. We also raise Barbados sheep. Guests will enjoy a private and peaceful atmosphere while experiencing pond life up close. We have added a side patio bordering a beautiful flower garden. The pond changes with the seasons. In late winter a few Canadian Geese arrive followed by the emergence of frogs and bullfrogs. In spring the Barbados lambs are born and the pond comes to life with birds, fish, and even a couple of turtles. We frequently have deer roaming through our neighbor's pecan orchard and the worst night visitors we've seen so far were a tree full of racoons.

We're about 20 minutes from the Sun Dial Bridge. Outlet stores and a casino are about a 10 minute drive. The drive to our place is especially beautiful in the spring and late autumn.
