This commanding 21 room Victorian inn, built in 1879, offers the most splendid view of the island and, upon the horizon, the distant mainland.

Step back in time as you enter the lobby of the Inn, decorated with many antiques original to the Inn or in The Marthens' family for generations. Enjoy walking the grounds, exploring the raised-bed flower and herb gardens, which supply the Inn's fine dining restaurant with many fresh-to-pick ingredients used by Executive Chef Dan Puglia and his staff, in their nightly dining creations.

Whether your visit brings you for a day, or for weeks, enjoy the view from the lovely wrap-around verandah while sipping a late afternoon cocktail or watching the sunset. This peaceful setting provides refuge for those who care to just laze around in the quiet splendor and feel as though they have truly reached nirvana! The Inn's 21 quest rooms are individually decorated with antiques and offer the traveler quiet simplicity. The guest rooms, located on the second and third floors have private baths and a telephone in each room.

The Atlantic Inn's twenty-one guest rooms, all individually furnished with antiques, await your arrival. Each guest room is furnished with private bath and telephone, and is located on either the second or third floor of the Inn. The Victorian charm that captivates you when you enter the Inn's lobby, repeats itself throughout the rooms.

When you awake, let the aroma of fresh brewed coffee entice you to come down and enjoy a continental breakfast, including fresh-baked pastries, home-made granola, fresh fruit salad, yogurt, juices, assorted teas and coffee. Enjoy your morning meal on the sun-porch or while sitting on the Inn's wrap-around verandah. The quiet of the morning makes you feel as though time is standing still! All rooms have private bathroom facilities, however, not all rooms have a full bath with a tub. If this is a concern please be sure to mention it at the time of making your reservation.

The Inn opens its' doors for the season late April each year and remains open until the end of October.
