Our comfortable home stay property is the perfect place to relax and enjoy nature in all its glory. Even if you are not a birder, you will surely delight in the beauty and birds that abound. You may even become a birder once you experience the passion and enthusiasm that we have or at the very least have a new appreciation for these feathered creatures. Our home stay is surrounded by indigenous oaks and mesquite trees. Many feeders have been added to provide close-up views of the numerous bird species for ourselves and our guest.

A continental breakfast is included. Each kitchenette is stocked with coffee, tea, juice, hot chocolate, cider, water and beverages. Hot and cold cereals, muffins or pastries, yogurt and seasonal fresh fruit when available. A barbecue grill is available to our guests who wish to cook outdoors and take advantage of the warm desert evenings.

The Casita furnished in Southwest decor, is a self contained building of approximately 530 sq. ft. The living area is furnished with a queen bed, large sectional sofa that makes into a full-sized hide-a-bed. There is a dining area that seats four. The Casita has a TV with built in VCR, stereo, telephone ( no charge for calls made within the continental US), and wireless internet available for those bringing lap top computers. The bathroom has a shower only, no bathtub. The kitchenette has a small refrigerator, microwave, toaster, coffee pot, plates, glasses, cups, bowls and utensils. French sliding doors open to a private patio facing west to a view of Miller Peak. Patio has a table, chairs, barbecue and of course bird feeders. A washer and dryer, located in the main house is available to all guests. The yard has two nature viewing areas. The area to the east of the home is open to guests and visiting birders alike. The rear area is reserved for guests only and has a private deck for the Owls' Roost occupants. Ample seating for all other B & B guests.

The Owl's Roost has a queen bed, adjoining bath with tub and shower. Private deck facing backyard with many bird feeders and excellent views of the many birds that visit the yard daily. The adjoining sitting room has a TV, VCR, large birding/natural history library and a small dinette set, telephone ( no charge for calls made within the continental US) and wireless internet available for those bringing their laptop computers. For additional 3rd and 4th persons a room with full-sized and twin-sized bed available with separate bathroom with shower only no bathtub. Cost for additional room $85 per night. The kitchenette has a small refrigerator, microwave, toaster, coffee pot, plates, glasses, cups, bowls and utensils.
