Why does Golden Bear not post our exact addresses? We give general locations until a booking has been made. Our locations are near the following intersections:

Filmore/Pine for the Pacific Heights property
Stockton/Greenwich for the North Beach property
Postcard Row, 7 Sisters, or Painted Ladies for the Alamo Square property

We are small properties and do not have a full-time front desk. We do not want unregistered guests ringing the bell at all times of the day and night to see rooms without prior arrangement. Given that our properties are well known, this keeps the curious away and allows our guests privacy and a peaceful stay.
