Cottage Inn At Lake Tahoe, Tahoe City, California

The original residence on the property was built by Ernest Pomin in 1938. It is decorated with "Old Tahoe" style furnishings. The sitting room is open to all guests for lounging by the fire, early morning coffee and today's newspaper, or enjoying the game table or television with popcorn, cookies, or a glass of wine (mulled wine in winter).

Choose from the following:

One room with choice of queen, king or twin beds. Private bath with shower. Each has cozy gas fireplace and charming rustic theme.
Accommodates 2 people.

Bedroom with queen bed, sitting area with beautiful rock-faced gas fireplace (some with sofa beds or day beds), private bath with shower and some with jacuzzi tubs. Accommodates 2 people.

Honeymoon Suite - Large romantic-themed room with canopy bed, sitting area with fireplace, rock whirlpool bath, open-beam ceiling and private bath with shower.
Accommodates 2 people.

Loft Suite - Large room with sitting area in front of fireplace, open-beam ceiling, private bath with shower, whirlpool tub and charming loft bedroom. Accommodates 2 people.


Small upstairs apartment with kitchenette & dining area, living room, bedroom with private balcony and view, private bath with shower, hot tub on the deck and a fireplace between the dining area & living room. Accommodates 2 people.

The Cottage Inn boasts a lodge and several cottages (duplexes/sixplex)

2 suites can accommodate 3 or 4 persons. Due to this limitation, additional persons must be disclosed when making the reservations.
Each room has its own private bathroom and shower, some with a 2 person tub.

The Cottage Inn lies a few steps from one of the finest private beaches on Lake Tahoe. All our guests are welcome. Here you may enjoy sunning on the docks, swimming in the clear water, picnicking at tables under the trees, or joining in a rousing game of volleyball. In the winter months, enjoy a peaceful stroll along the snowy paths offering picturesque views of the lake and mountains. The Cottage Inn is not able to accommodate children under 12 years of age.
