Situated on a hill, high above old Placerville, in the heart of the historic district, and secluded in its own private forest of mature evergreen and deciduous trees, GlenMorey offers the best of both worlds. Our grounds have many quiet spots to relax , while just a short walk from Main St. antique shops, fine restaurants, and art galleries. We are located only 8 miles from the Marshall Gold discovery site in Coloma, with rafting and gold panning in the American River. We are only a ten minute drive from Apple Hill orchards and wineries. Visit us on your way to Lake Tahoe, which is only an hour away.

What began as a gold rush era farm house in 1859 became a spacious two wing estate. One wing is the home of the proprietors, Tom & Alison Loeprich, while the rest of the home contains a comfortable living room, elegant dining room, and 3 large guestroom suites, each with an adjoining private bath.

Each of our 3 generous guestrooms is decorated in its own unique style. All have a queen-sized bed and feather duvet.
