You will love this gracious federal home situated on 21 acres complete with hand-laid old stone fences and horses. Enjoy the many, unusual antiques, oak and maple floors, hand-pegged walnut doors, hand reeded mantels, and a dog-legged stairway.
Silver Springs Farm is listed on the Survey of Historic Sites in Kentucky. The farm operated as a distillery from 1867 to prohibition. We don't make bourbon today, but the old springhouse still stands and the spring provides water for the horses and garden.
Silver Springs Farms spacious rooms have queen or king beds, cable TV and VCR, and are furnished with your comfort in mind. Our business travelers appreciate having a work space with modem jack. A FAX machine is available. There is also a "lending library" of movies.
The Cottage is a 1200 sqft, fully furnished house. It offers the most privacy and space of all our accommodations. It is perfect for romantic weekends, business trips,or family vacations. It is perfect period and our most popular accommodation.
