Our corner of the state is tree-covered and abounds in beauty and outdoor opportunities. On I-84, we're three hours from Boise, Idaho, and four & one-half hours from Portland, Oregon.
Guest Room - This was the original guest room. Spacious, with a burgundy and green decor, this room has a view of the rose garden, the front lawn and the walnut trees. Bing Crosby and many other notables slept here. Queen bed, private bath.
Maid's Room - Seven doors and an angled wall make this room a favorite. It has cozy, flowered wallpaper and a balcony that overlooks the rose garden. The room has a queen bed and a private bath with tub/shower. A tiny adjoining room has a twin bed.
Master Bedroom -This room truly was for the head of the house. There is a queen size, four poster bed, and a good reading chair and light. An adjoining room has two twin beds. Private bath with tub and separate shower.
Fireplace Suite (Ann's & Jane's Rooms) - These were the Stange daughters' rooms. They are normally rented as a suite as they share a bath. The separate sitting room which joins Ann's and Jane's has a fireplace and television. Ann's has pastel decor and a queen canopy bed. Jane's has two windowed walls and two twin beds.
