The Brafferton Inn, built in 1786, is the cornerstone of Gettysburg's historic district and is its oldest continual residence. A bullet from a Confederate sniper is lodged in the mantle of one of its rooms. It is located at the center of town, just a half block east of Lincoln Square. Locally known as the Codori House, the Inn was transformed into a Bed and Breakfast 20 years ago and has continued to be shelter to its owners and a haven for travelers from around the world.

A wide range of interests and pursuits brings visitors just like you to Gettysburg, although many share a common desire to understand more about our nation's history. The Brafferton is a special place, filled with a wonderful mix of history, culture, and art. The atmosphere of this wonderful old home will add to your enjoyment in visiting historic Gettysburg.

All of our rooms have antiques, great art work, and their own private baths (some attached, some across a hall). Each has its own character, and no two are decorated alike. Some rooms may accommodate children (8 years and older only) or in some cases adults for an additional fee of $20 per person.
