You may be delighted by any one or a combination of the following: Cottontales and Jackrabbits, Beavers, muskrats, martens, fishers, raccoons, wildcats, cougars, bears and coyotes! Nearby lies upper Klamath Lake which is a nationally famed feeding spot for ducks and geese heading south. The crown jewel of this setting is Mt. McLoughlin with its almost 10,000 feet of majestic breathtaking beauty. The renown Pacific Crest Trail trailhead is only 20 minutes drive from the Resort and one of America's most cherished National Park treasures, Crater Lake, is only 55 miles away. Ashland, Oregon is just a 37 mile drive down the picturesque Dead Indian Memorial Highway where you might consider staying at our sister property Ashland Springs Hotel and visit the Oregon Shakespeare Festival. Also, the Championship Arnold Palmer Golf Course at the Running Y Resort is only a 20 minute drive, and the beautiful Eagle Point Golf Course is less than an hour away. So adventure abounds in and around this beautiful resort nestled in the Southern Oregon Cascades.

The 26 cabins clad in brown clapboard with red front doors and window boxes are spread around the property, ranging from one bedroom to bunkhouse cabins. Most cabins have a lake view. Walls of honey colored knotty pine are covered in original artwork collected locally. The windows are draped in ticking stripes and vintage floral. In the cozy sitting area, an eclectic mixture of vintage and hand-painted Monterey-style furniture are grouped facing the stove. Beside the blanket-covered arm chairs, vintage lamps invite one to read a book borrowed from the resort's lobby library. Only the sound of the water lapping the shores and the wind in the trees will lull you to sleep.
