The campground at Van's Lakeview is located right along the sandy beaches. We have close to 100 hook-ups to water and electricity, of which 16 of those are full hook-ups. For those that want to rough it, we have primitive sites available. See all rates below. We also have a dump station with complementary hoses. Our general store holds almost everything you may have forgotten or run out of.
A state park permit is not required at Van's as it is a private campground. We have a peaceful camp where 85% of the sites are shaded and there are over 100 picnic tables located throughout. Camp fires are allowed, but are limited to our fire rings only. A Fisherman's Paradise! Lake McConaughy is Nebraska's premier fishing location and at Van's we'd like to help you catch the one that doesn't get away! Whether it is boat rental, launching services, guide service or just the basic tackle and bait, Van's has it all!
For those with kids, a playground is located close by and there is a water slide available during agreeable weather and water conditions.
Pets are welcome in camp, however we do require pets to be on a leash and with you at all times. We also ask that you clean up after them.
If youre putting together that fishing trip with the guys or planning the family vacation, Vans mobile homes and modern cabins are the perfect place for a good nights sleep.
The mobile homes consist of two separate bedrooms, a living room with a hide-a-bed, kitchen and bath. All of your bedding, toweling, cooking utensils and table service is provided for a party of four. The units are all air conditioned and shaded. Charcoal grills are located outside.
The cabins consist of one sleeping area with two double beds, kitchen and bath. Once again bedding, toweling and kitchen amenities are provided. Air-conditioning is also included and there is plenty of shade to relax in!
For the comfort of everyone, we do not allow more than four people to one unit, including children.
Sorry, NO PETS allowed.
Our rental units are not located along the water. There is approximately 1/3 of a mile from beach to front door.
