River Run Inn, a Salida, Colorado bed and breakfast, was built in 1892 as the Chaffee County Poor Farm. Today it's listed on the National Register of Historic Places and bears little resemblance to its humble beginnings. Now, renovated rooms are elegant, wireless Internet is available and a gracious front porch invites guests to relax and view the glorious Salida, CO sunsets. A smaller back porch is a favorite for morning coffee and watching hummingbirds. The Bed and Breakfast sits on five acres in the country, so it is an ideal place for fun and relaxing group vacations. The Las Animas River Room - Dormitory on 3rd floor with shared bath. - Enjoy your stay at our country inn as a group! The Las Animas River Dorm has been newly decorated and refurbished to host families and groups of friends at a more affordable rate. The dorm can sleep up to 13 people with 1 king bed and 10 twin beds. The dorm is on the third floor of the Inn and has a private bathroom as well as a sitting area with cable television. In the morning, enjoy a hot breakfast on the main floor dining room to jump start your day!
