The Michael Cahill B&B, Ashtabula, Ohio

The Michael Cahill Bed and Breakfast in Ashtabula Harbor offers comfortable, spacious, overnight lodging in a landmark home integral to the Harbor neighborhood since 1887.

Mr. Cahill, an emigrant from Ireland in 1850, was a prosperous saloon keeper in the harbor area until his death in 1898. His home was then purchased by a prominent Swedish businessman, Andrew Dalin, in 1906. The property was to remain in the Dalin family until 1983, when purchased by the present owners, restored and opened as a B&B in 1986. In 1988, the home was listed on the National Register of Historical Places for its Stick-Style architecture.
