Hallauer House Bed & Breakfast in Oberlin Ohio is a small, historical Bed and Breakfast Inn that features just 3 guest rooms but what is lacking in number of rooms, is made up for in ambiance, amenities, historical presence, friendliness, helpfulness, and gracious hospitality We are located in Pittsfield Township just 3 miles south of Oberlin College campus and the historic town of Oberlin, Ohio which some refer to as 'the town that started the Civil War.' With that in mind. we have combined the history of Oberlin and the Civil War with the historical artifacts that we have collected over the years to create our Civil War themed 1830 Hallauer House Bed & Breakfast. We are Oberlin's Historical Country Inn

Each of the three guest rooms at the Hallauer House Bed & Breakfast in Oberlin, Ohio are named after the divisions in the United States during the era of the Civil War. The Confederate Room overlooks the southern side of the house while the Union Room is on the northern side. To the back of the house is the Mason/Dixon Suite which overlooks both the northern and southern sides of the house with a view out of 20 windows. But all the rooms are distinctively appointed with antiques and modern comforts to reflect the elegance and charm of the era and to bring the past into the present.
