Some of the nation's most beautiful natural parks are within easy driving distance, such as Sequoia, Kings Canyon and Yosemite. And if city life is what you're after, we are just minutes from downtown Bakersfield, and a short 90 minutes from the greater Los Angeles area, with all of of its amusement parks, restaurants, nightclubs, theaters, museums and other attractions. Folks have been our satisfied guests at the park for years, and we're happy to provide a quiet, comfortable resting stop for weary travelers, be it for a single night or an extended stay.
Situated at the Southern entrance to California's grand San Joaquin Valley, Bakersfield is a convenient waystation for travelers passing through from Interstate 5 and 99 or the Mojave desert. If you are heading south it makes a great overnight stay close to LA while avoiding the traffic and congestion of that major metropolitan area. Heading north? The Travel Park is a great watering hole before you traverse the 300 miles of the Valley

Bakersfield Travel Park was founded in 1988 and is now under new management, and is owned and operated by Real Investments. We're a AAA rated, full service RV park, and we honor discounts for Good Sam & Woodalls memberships.
The park features 100 full hookup pull through spaces, and each one is shaded by trees with grass and picnic tables. Our park features WIFI hookup, Cable TV, a great pool to cool you plus a Clubhouse.
