The White Rabbit Inn B&B, Lakeside, Michigan

The White Rabbit Inn is a small eight room bed and breakfast located in the lovely little village of Lakeside, Michigan, only 90 minutes from the hustle and bustle of downtown Chicago, or less than 3-1/2 hours from Detroit or Indianapolis. We are surrounded by sophisticated antique stores, exquisite art galleries, highly-acclaimed gourmet restaurants and only a short drive from nearby award winning Michigan wineries like Round Barn Winery, St. Julian, Domaine Berrien Cellars and Tabor Hill. Best of all, our Inn is only a few blocks or a brief, ten minute walk from the nearest public beach access. And less than five miles away, rests majestic Warren Dunes State Park with its sugar sand beaches, wooded trails and of course Lake Michigan. For fans of the fine arts, nearby Three Oaks, MI is home to both the Vickers Film Theatre as well as the Acorn Performing Arts Theater. You will find plenty to do year-round in Harbor Country.

Breakfast is served in the Lodge, an airy building with large picture windows over looking the woods. Enjoy our "hearty" continental buffet while watching for deer, colorful wild birds or our favorite pair of chipmunks.

Our cozy Woodview rooms each feature a rustic, artisan-made queen-sized bed, single whirlpool tub, private bathroom, TV/VCR and a patio with a view of the woods.

Our larger Garden rooms each offer a two-person whirlpool tub in the very private bathroom, a 13" TV/VCR and DVD player, a mini refrigerator and a romantic four-poster queen-sized bed.

Our spacious Birch rooms are the Inn's most popular rooms, each with a hand-crafted birch bed in the center of the room, facing a gas fireplace. A large two-person whirlpool tub awaits at the other end of the room which also includes a private bathroom, a 13" TV/VCR and DVD player, a mini refrigerator, a relaxing seating area and a patio overlooking the woods.
