We love to see our guests relax and make themselves at home. Our living room is one place where you can do just that - curl up with a good book or enjoy a movie with your family. Our dog Millie knows how to make herself at home!
Our home was built in the 1890's and is nestled among large shady maples on beautiful park-like grounds with extensive perennial gardens. We have a quietly talkative creek bordering our gardens which enters Hanley Lake at the corner of our private beach. Hanely Lake is small yet wonderful, part of the northern Chain of Lakes which open directly into Intermediate Lake. Although we are less than a half mile from town, our tranquil country-side setting will give the feeling of being far away from it all.
Our breakfast menu changes daily, but here are a couple of sample menus which always includes teas/coffee, assorted jellies & orange juice:

Rachel's Cottage - This charming efficiency apartment boasts a cottage-style ambience. It has a private entrance, two bedrooms; one with a queen-sized bed and sitting room, the other with a full-size bed. The "cottage" is perfect for longer stays with it's own dining nook and quaint kitchen and is priced according to number of guests. Check Availability
Jason's Room - You'll love the Warrenkimble-style atmosphere. This room features a beautiful canopy queen-size bed, private bath and a sitting area that overlooks Hanley Lake
Allison's Suite - This lovely suite features a bedroom with a antique brass post queen-sized feather bed with a private bath across the hall. The adjoining sitting room has a comfy loveseat that folds out to a twin bed, a television, and a faux fireplace. The sleeping room overlooks the perennial garden while the sitting room overlooks Hanley Lake.
