CRAIG'S RV PARK & RESORT - HOME of THE BLUEGRASS FAMILY GATHERING

Craig's RV Park is located just 7 miles North of Arcadia, Florida on Cubitis Ave (old Hwy 17). Arcadia boasts an area population of around 25,000 and with its 'old Florida' feel and warm winters we are sure you won't be able to resist its charm and our local and area activities are just waiting for you to join in. The Park offers over 300 pads with full hookups and many of the sites are on shaded streets lined with live oak trees. The area abounds with local wild life that includes egrets, herons, kites, feral pigs, and in the rear of the park is a pond that has fish and a resident alligator or two.

Activities - "If you don't have a good time - it's your own fault!" Craig's RV Park offers a number of planned activities. Our air-conditioned recreation hall is the site of dances and concerts and can accommodate more than 300 folks. Our campground and the local area is home to many talented people and we have bands for the Friday night dances and there is a Saturday program as well. Sunday morning offers a non-denominational worship service with a resident minister giving the sermon.

Park activities include Bingo, Exercise Classes, Special Dinners, Billiards, Cards, Bocce Ball, Shuffleboard, Horseshoes, a Driving Range and Walking Track. After all that exercise you can a take a dip in the Park's Swimming Pool.

Craig's RV Park sponsors The Bluegrass Family Gathering Music Festival held each March and there are the monthly Bluegrass Music Jam/Fests held by the Southwest Florida Bluegrass Association.

Other Park events include the annual New Years Eve Dance, Valentine Dance & Queen, Easter Dinner, Thanksgiving Dinner and Christmas Dinner. Some more events include Joy Donations, Luminaries, Lunch Trips, Candle Lit Services, Lit-Deck Contests, Block Parties,Craft Bazaar, and Park Yard Sale.
