Canyon Rim Ranch offers the finest Trail Riding experience in West Virginia. Take a Horseback Ride on one of our many trails, enjoy the views of the New River Gorge. We are the only horse stable to ride inside the National Park in Fayette County. Owned and operated by equine professionals with over 50 years combined experience. Nature at it is finest. While we are equine professionals, we are family. Canyon Rim Ranch treats our guest as one big happy family. That is noticeable when you see our herd. We care for our trail horses as much as we do our guests.

At Canyon Rim Ranch, we can arrange a vacation package for 2 or 62. We take pride in our ability to be flexible in order to assist you with those vacation plans. You can choose Extreme Adventure packages that include a Horseback Ride and an ATV tour, followed up with Whitewater Rafting. Want to add more try mountain biking, rock climbing or fly-fishing to you list.

With a fantastic overlook of our ranch and view of the Appalachian Mountains, you will enjoy being able to see the sky full of stars after a great day of horseback riding, rafting, kayaking, or ATV riding. You'll wake every morning to the sun beaming from behind the mountain tops. Just 3-5 minutes from the Gorge, you'll be well rested and ready for another day's adventure!

Tent Camping
Camp in our exclusive camping area high above the Canyon Rim Ranch. Fire pits and charcoal grills provided (you have to bring your own wood or charcoal). Shower and bathroom facilities are available for your use. Make your reservations early since space is limited or take a chance and just show up since available spaces not reserved are first come first served basis.

RVs and Pop-Ups - Limited number of RV spots.

Horse & Camping - Have a horse and no were to ride! We have three full days worth of trail riding. It is picket line or panels. All Horse campers are recommended to come self-contained although water is available for horses. Hot showers are available to all campers. See all the overlooks, and the beauty of our mountain. In the evening, you can watch the sunset at the campsite or take an evening ride to the top of the mountain to get a closer view. A negative Coggins and vet check certificate required.

We also offer Bunkhouse lodging; great for larger groups and long stays, church groups, organizations, family reunions or group get-a-ways.
We can accommodate up to 28 people in our bunkhouses. They have a rustic outside but a comfortable inside with microwave, refrigerator, air conditioning, heat and grills.
