Patchwork Quilt Country Inn, Middlebury, Indiana

Tucked away in the heart of Elkhart and LaGrange counties you will find an area where folks are greeted with a warm smile and a friendly handshake. A place where horse and buggies are still found on country roads & where tranquility still is a daily affair. This is where the Patchwork Quilt Country Inn began its humble beginnings back in 1875 with the Lovejoy family. For over half a century guest have been retracing their steps back to the wide front porch of the inn where they can enjoy spectacular sunsets and watch white tail deer in their native habitat. From the rear deck our guest enjoy the views of the sunrise and beautiful birds like the White and Red breasted Nuthatches and a wide variety of other birds & wildlife while they enjoy their morning beverage as they prepare to spend a day shopping at the Shipshewana Flea Market or one of the many Amish shops that adorn the back roads of the Heritage Trail.

The new innkeepers (As of Febraury 2009) Ed & Tammy McKean are devoted to providing you with a standard of excellence in country hospitality and are pleased to open their hearts and home during your visit to the Patchwork Quilt Country Inn.
