We are an organization that has been in business since 1957. We are lucky to have downtown Cape May, the beach, fishing, and two shopping centers within two miles of us. This is a quiet, clean community; a great place to spend the night, summer vacation, or live permanently. We can accommodate Recreational Vehicles, for the day or season.

The Cape May Mobile Estates was started in 1957 by my father and mother Gerrit & Joyce Van Mourik. They started the mobile home section than. In 1960 the mobile home rental was doing good and they seen a need for parking travel trailers. So they put in 10 lot for travel trailers.

In 1964 they bought land off Richard Ewing to expand the travel trailer section to 70 sites with full hook ups. During the 1970’s we made several improvement such as paved road, up grading the electric line, and adding city sewer.

In 1983 dad retried and Jeffrey Van Mourik took over the operation. I am the youngest son. In 1991 We put in more travel trailer lots along with a new storage building. Since than I have maintained the premises. We now have 48 manufactured home sites, and 81 Recreational Vehicle sites.
