We have a total of 70 sites on 30 acres. We offer spacious grass sites with mature trees and exceptional wooded sites. We have group areas available for those traveling with others. Enjoy the relaxation and tranquility of sitting by your campfire, strolling along the nature trails and meeting new friends. We have a heated swimming pool and other activities for everyone to enjoy.
The Ahnapee State Trail is a gravel based trail that extends 17 miles north from the campground to Sturgeon Bay and 15 miles south to Casco. Enjoy a walk to the Ahnapee River for fishing and canoeing. Bring your own bike or canoe or rent them here.
Lake Michigan fishing is an experience you will never forget. Charter services are available with captians in the campground or through charter captains in Algoma. We will freeze your fish for no charge while you are camping with us.
Beautiful scenery and sandy beaches are some of the highlights of the area. Cherry and apple picking, winery tours, art and craft shows, a saturday farmers market, unique shops and many other attractions can be found nearby. A walk on Algoma's beautiful boardwalk provides a breathtaking view of Lake Michigan and the lighthouse.
