Covert Park Beach & Campground, buried deep in the heart of Michigan’s Critical Dune Shoreline, offers a quiet setting close to many Southwest Michigan attractions. Covert Park has a ¼ mile of sandy beach front nestled between quiet neighborhoods, so the beach is rarely crowded. Even on busy days you will always be able to find a quiet spot. Come with your children to enjoy a day at the beach, or bring your whole family for a relaxing weekend away from city hustle and bustle.

Conveniently located between South Haven and St. Joseph, let Covert Park be your base to explore the history and beauty of Southwest Michigan. There are many different activities to keep even the most diverse families happy. Enjoy an afternoon of “pick-your-own” orchards for blueberries, strawberries, cherries, peaches and apples, winery tours charter fishing, antique-ing, golf, bicycling, shopping or just lounging around the beach watching a breath-taking sunset.

Covert Park has 62 sites on 50 acres of shaded woodland. Our developed sites located in two separate camping loops, have water and 15, 30 and 50 amp hook-ups, with a dump station on site. Our primitive walk-in sites are nestled in a wooded setting and all campsites are within a five minute walk to the beach. The children will enjoy playing on our two playgrounds while picnicking under our covered pavilion. Looking to grill? Our day use area has grills and picnic tables ready to go, just add charcoal.

Covert Park now has two camping cabins to offer campers looking for a different camping experience. Built new in 2006, these 12' x 12' rustic cabins have a covered deck, electricity, one double bed, one set of twin bunk beds (with mattresses), table and chairs on the inside and a picnic table and fire ring on the outside.
