Lake Leelanua RV Park, Traverse City, Michigan
The park is located on seven hundred feet of frontage on the beautiful shores of Lake Leelanau. The lake provides twenty one miles of crystal clear waters for boating, fishing, water sports, and endless fun in the sun. It is stocked with many different kinds of fish including: Walleye, Bass, Northern Pike, Perch, Trout, and loads of pan fish. For boater's convenience, there is a boat launch, gas pump, and ninety eight boat docks available for rent. The park also has a safe sandy beach with large shallow swimming area for family fun in the water.
The park has one hundred and ninety six spacious sites, mostly covered with grass and scattered among the trees. The lake front sites are mostly open grassy sites with a concete pad and patio. All sites are full hook up which includes electric, water, sewer, cable TV, and high speed internet. Some are pull throughs for easy entry and exit. (We can handle rigs up to 40 ft long.) All sites have picnic tables and a fire circle.
The park offers many events for adults and children during the summer. Every weekday night there is a free children program that consists of either a hayride, games, or other activities. Every Saturday there is an ice cream social where you can get all the ice cream and toppings you can eat for $1.00. Occasionally on Sunday evening there is a free pipe organ concert which is played on a 3,576 pipe, 62 rank pipe organ right in the park office.
