Lake-In-Wood Camping Resort is "home to the gnomes" because it is a friendly place, built to suit the lifestyles of today's campers (even the knee-high ones). From a weekend in your tent to a season in their deluxe park models, this resort becomes a treasured "Home Away from Home!" The resort features a magnificent entertainment hall with a beautifully restored pipe organ for hosting grand parties and resort gatherings. Other pavilions are available for smaller groups (the Gnome Bridge Club are regulars). Adults can enjoy the picturesque views and intimate setting of the lake-view terrace.

For RV campers like me, Lake-In-Wood offers 350 wooded or open sites. Big rigs are welcome at their pull-thru sites. These spacious campsites accommodate even my new oversized "motorized carriage" and I never worry about banging slideouts with my neighbors.

Most sites feature full hookups, including 20/30/50 AMP electric and cable television. I keep my computer connected to this electronic World Wide Web with the resort's available phone/modem hookups and their wireless high speed internet access, Linkspot.

If you're like some of my younger brethren and like a "back to basics" tent camping experience, the resort features many rustic tenting sites.
