The Simpson House Inn, Santa Barbara, California
The Simpson House Inn is secluded in an acre of English gardens, yet only a five-minute walk from Santa Barbara's restaurants, theaters, museums and shops. Sandstone walls and tall hedges screen the Inn from the tree-lined street.
Each evening a lavish Mediterranean hors d'oeuvres buffet and local wines are served on the veranda overlooking the gardens. Guest rooms feature antiques and fine art, oriental carpets, wood-burning fireplaces, and whirlpools are available. AAA Five Diamond Rating.
