In 1870, A. H. Root, proprietor of the New Greeley House said, "This hotel, having been lately repaired and enlarged, is now open for the reception of Guests. The patronage of the public is solicited, and no pains will be spared to make it pleasant and comfortable for all."
We are very pleased to welcome you to our home, the Sod Buster Inn Bed & Breakfast! Whether your stay is for leisure, business or fun, we can accommodate your needs in a manner that will make you want to return to the Inn time and time again! We look forward to serving you.
All guest rooms have been designed and furnished with your comfort and safety in mind. The Inn has fire sprinklers and secure door locks.
Though each room offers separate and distinct antique and classic country furnishings, all rooms offer the following amenities: Either a king or queen bed, desk with modem port and telephone, direct cable to main office printer, comfortable seating, reading lamps and private bath (some baths offer jetted tubs, while others have old fashioned clawfoot tubs or soaker tubs). Each bath, except one, offers a shower independent of the tub. A first floor room has been designed to assist our guests who have special needs. Each room has its own individual climate controls.
Located on both the first and second floors are refreshment bars that will be open every morning and evening offering a variety of homebaked treats, coffee, tea and soft drinks. Refrigerator space will be available for our guests. If you have a special request, please ask and we will make every reasonable effort to meet your needs.
