Established in 1923, the Menemsha Inn is a charming inn and cottage compound nestled on 14 acres of flowering gardens and rolling woodlands, with moss-covered stone walls and wonderful ocean vistas. A short walk down a winding path and across the dunes brings you to Menemsha beach and Dutcher Dock, Menemsha's 300 year old commercial fishing wharf. Currently in it's 79th year of continuous operation, our inn is an up island institution known for a secluded, relaxed atmosphere that is pure Martha's Vineyard. More than half of our guests are returning friends who find their only solace on departure is booking their return vacation.

We offer six spacious carriage house rooms, nine well appointed inn rooms, eleven charming housekeeping cottages with kitchens and fireplaces, and our 2 bedroom Mainstay Suite. All carriage house rooms, and most inn rooms and cottages have spectacular water views overlooking Vineyard Sound, Cuttyhunk Island and the Gay Head lighthouse. The Mainstay Suite, with two bedrooms, living room, a kitchen and spectacular waterview is our most elegant accommodation.

All accommodations have cable television, VCRs, telephones and internet access. The Inn also offers a tennis court, gym, horseshoes and ping pong room.
