Bordered by stone walls, 18th Century sugar maples and neighboring horse farms, it recalls New Hampshire's rural heritage. Located in the town of Epping in the Seacoast Region of New Hampshire, you are a short drive to the beach, The University of New Hampshire, State Parks, "Antique Alley", Philips Exeter Academy and the Museum of Independence in Exeter. Situated on a crest rising above Plumer Road, Plumercrest is a fine example of Victorian Italianate architecture. The grounds include gardens, a gazebo and the Plumer Cemetery. Plumercrest was built by the great granddaughter of Governor William Plumer, on his estate. This stately mansion, built by this prominent family, reveals the grandeur of the Victorian era; high ceilings, elaborate moldings, and spacious rooms. Our two acres of gardens and lawns bordered by neighboring farms and mature hardwood trees provides space and privacy for events hosting up to 125 people. Indoor events utilizing our four ground floor rooms and hallway can accommodate parties and functions of up to 60 people.
