The Red Barn Campground sits on thirty wooded acres just off the primary access road to Bar Harbor and Acadia National Park. It consists of one hundred and twenty sites, most of which have water, sewer and electric hook-ups, some with 50 amp service. Cable TV connections are also available.

The location is ideal in many respects: The campground is easily found only a few minutes from I-95, Maine's major north-south interstate and is only 6 miles from Bangor, Maine's largest city. Bangor offers good restaurants, many cultural activities and the largest shopping mall in Maine. It is also close to two large lakes offering opportunities for boating and fishing and is less than an hour from Bar Harbor.
