An 1859 Vermont Inn with splendid views overlooking the Bennington Monument and Green Mountains of Vermont, the Alexandra B&B offers an elegant understated respite for weary business travelers or vacationing adventurers.

Morning meals at the Alexandra B&B are a gastronomic indulgence. A delicious full gourmet breakfast consisting of a selection of juices, hot beverages, our own cereal mix, fresh fruit salad, pastry and originally prepared hot main dishes complement the formula for a memorable experience. Our daily menu may include one of these: Pancakes with blueberries and caramelized apples, French toast topped with fried bananas and sautéed pears, Waffles with berry’s syrup, mushroom-sun dried tomato and cheese Omelets, and much more.

Conveniently situated on 2 acres facing Historic Route 7A at the edge of town, the land originally belonged to a relative of Samuel Robinson, the founder of Bennington, Vermont who found "the good air of Bennington, healthy." Nearby orchards and farm land provide a country escape that is five minutes from the business district, shops, historic Old Bennington, and half a mile from Bennington College.
