Greenwood Manor Inn - An escape from the everyday - a secluded bed and breakfast inn located at the tip of Long Lake and the foothills of the White Mountains between the towns of Bridgton and Harrison.

Greenwood Manor is on a quiet country lane with over 100 acres of lawns, gardens and woodlands, perfect for your next romantic getaway. With over thirty lakes in the surrounding Lake Region, the area boasts excellent fishing, boating, and swimming. If you prefer solid ground under your feet, we offer an unlimited number of hiking trails and a selection of fine golf courses to test your skills, as well as many other exciting outdoor recreational activities from which to plan your spring, summer or fall vacation.

Start your day at our inn with a bountiful country breakfast. After a full day of adventure, relax on the inn's expansive covered deck overlooking the gardens in the summer, or enjoy a quiet, romantic evening in front of a crackling fireplace during frosty evenings. Seven uniquely decorated guestrooms and 2 suites offer you views of the surrounding gardens and woodlands.

Greenwood Manor Inn was built in 1870 as a private residence by Philander Tolman who named it "Greenwood Villa". Philander, his wife Laura, and their six children lived in the home for over 50 years. The home passed through several owners before being renovated and converted into a Bed & Breakfast in the late 1980's. The inn operated as the "Tolman House Inn" until the spring of 2000 when it changed ownership and re-opened as Greenwood Manor Inn.

One hundred and eight wonderful acres surrounding the inn are here to explore. Take a leisurely stroll through the perennial gardens, sit along the banks of Bear River, or take a hike up our wooded hillside to view Long Lake. We have various lawn games for your enjoyment or just spend a relaxing evening on our spacious deck or on our hammock under the tree. Canoes are available for guest use at the near-by lakes.

Take advantage of two crystal clear lakes just a short walk away - providing swimming, fishing and boating (we'll furnish the canoes!). The dozens of lakes in the area provide excellent fishing, canoeing, and kayaking. Jet ski and motorboat rentals are available at several local marinas. Or take a sunset sailing cruise right from the dock in Harrison with Sebago Sailing.

Five area golf courses offer challenging play for inn guests. Bridgton Highlands is a spectacular course just 5 minutes from the inn. Or stop by Beech Hill Bison Ranch to see the bison babies. Don't forget to enjoy a morning hike on near-by scenic trails or bike the many backcountry roads in the Lake Region.
