Indian Hills Inn, Taos Plaza began serving Taos Lodging needs in the early 1900s. Originally named El Taoseno Courts, the Inn has changed many times over the years. The most recent change being the addition of 30 single king rooms in 1995. The Motor Inn is conveniently located downtown, just 2 blocks South of historic Taos Plaza with its galleries, shops, museums, and other points of interest. Taos is nestled at the edge of the Sangre de Christo mountains of Northern NM. Biking, hiking, white water rafting, etc. are nearby. The Indain Hills Inn, Taos Plaza is Taos best located and easiest to find Motel for the Taos Experience. Built in the traditional Southwestern Pueblo style, most rooms face over an acre of grass, tall trees, NOTE - Pool is closed for remodel regardless of what other sites say, and patio - an unusually peaceful respite in the downtown area.
