Harborside Cottages, New Harbor, Maine

For generations since 1950, Harborside Cottages has provided the perfect place for couples and families to "get away from it all". Located on mid-coast Maine's historic Pemaquid peninsula, Harborside itself sits on the edge of picturesque New Harbor where guests can watch the harbor's activities from their porches or from our private dock. A small rowboat is available for our guests and many bring their own kayaks for a quiet paddle among the harbor's many lobster boats or along the rocky shore. Without the interruptions of television or telephones, getting "caught up" on reading is a pleasure and there's always time for puzzles, board games and lawn games with the family.

Our housekeeping cottages are classic Maine cabins, neatly kept, simple, yet possessing an old-fashioned charm that many refer to as "spirit-renewing". It is the combination of rustic charm and extraordinary natural setting (as well as the area's many cultural, historical and natural sites) that brings people back to Harborside generation after generation.
