Hiram Blake Camp, Brooksville, Maine
Stand Cove is the first cove east of Blake Point, the southernmost tip of Cape Rosier. Lining the western shore of the cove are the rocks, meadows, gardens, woods, cottages and workbuildings of Hiram Blake Camp.
All of the cottages are situated within 200 feet of the shore, and all have an excellent view of Penobscot Bay.
There are rowboats at the dock for the use of Camp guests, to explore the adjacent coves and nearby islands of the Bay. The boats will seat a family of four comfortably, with dog and picnic gear. Several of the boats are equipped with a centerboard and can be rigged as simple sailboats.
There's a playground for the kids, and rec room with a ping-pong table and board games, and a very extensive library.
