Island View Inn is a beautiful bed and breakfast establishment that has been renovated in the elegant tradition of the turn-of-the-century summer cottage. In restoration much attention has been paid to detail, all of the original furniture that was in the house has been used.

The Island View has picturesque views of Frenchman's Bay and the mountains of Mount Desert Island. In addition a private beach is available to all guests. Fine dining is readily available in this area, with two international restaurants within five minutes of the inn.
