Jamaica State Park is on the banks of the West River and is bustling all season with countless activities, including hosting two whitewater paddling events annually. The campground offers 43 campsites, 18 lean-tos, restrooms, showers (5), trailer sanitary sta¬tion, swimming at the Salmon Hole, hiking on several trails with dramatic vistas, 2 miles of the multi-use West Rivet Trail (walking, biking), and Hamilton Falls Natural Area, with a 125-foot cascading waterfall. Located just off VT Route 30/100 in Jamaica village.
