Twin Rivers Campground, Kankakee, Illinois
The park has been here since the beining of time; rain, iceburgs, wind all played a factor in this beautiful park, making it what it is today. The Kankakee River along Saint Anne, is Historically known for its deep cut canyons, waterfalls, and caves. With all of the history here anyone wanting to see a piece of the past should visit Twin Rivers Campground. The Chicago Central District Church of The Nazarene purchased the 67 acre property in 1956 for its use as a camp meetin and youth camp facility and had opened the facilities for limited use to other churches and civic organizations over the years.

In 2003 Larry Breeck and Greg Yates partnered to negotiate the purchase of the Twin Rivers Facilities from the Chichago Central District Church of the Nazarene and In June 2004 at the District Assembly, the church of the Nazarene voted to sell the 67 acre property, buildings and equipment to Larry and Greg (Quality Concepts). In April of 2005 the final legal papers were finalized and signed to complete the sale of the property.

Future plans include the addition of 38 new RV campsites, new lodging, additional parking area, updated shower and bathing facility, brand new cafeteria, marina and a additional 5 acre lake!!!
One of the best improvements we plan on is the new 5 acre lake and marina!! This will allow us to offer our customers more water activities along with a safer area for boating along with swiming. This lake will be completed this summer!!
