Allagash Gateway Campsites are located on beautiful Ripogenus Lake. We offer housekeeping cabins and 50 primitive campsites, RV sites, hot showers, boat launch, marina, gasoline as well as canoe rentals and transportation services to the upper West Branch of the Penobscot River. Fish for land-locked salmon, trout and togue.

Facilities include a boat launching area, docking for boats, parking for cars and trailers. As a convenience we sell gas, outboard motor oil, ice, and bottle gas. Campsites are in harmony with nature, some being secluded and others more open. Each campsite is provided with fireplace, table and rubbish container. Acres of wilderness provide ample firewood for the picking. Drinking water is supplied by an artesian well and is pressurized so that trailers may replenish their water supply. Canoes are available for rent.

There are limited supplies available at the campground but a small general store is only three miles away.
